​Main Purpose of Role:

To deliver a high quality, effective and efficient hire and sales equipment service to the allocated key client(s). Maintain and produce all required hire and sales, procurement & delivery documentation accurately and efficiently; to provide effective customer relations and service to the allocated client(s).

Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer focused and driven to deliver a high quality customer service by ensuring customer hire and sale quotations / orders / queries are handled efficiently and effectively by utilising approved business systems
  • Ensure on time high quality and accurate processing of all allocated client requests and documentation;  Ensure on time delivery for all allocated client hire and sale orders
  • Continually monitor and liaise with allocated clients to maximise every business opportunity
  • Maintain accurate information in terms of quotation dates on InspHire
  • Administer and liaise with the client to ensure that all customer needs are met and maximise opportunities where possible
  • Ensure the correct equipment and materials are prepared for the work scope and that it complies client contract and statutory requirements
  • Maintain and manage all the required paperwork and records accurately; including Job Packs for audit purposes, to ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations
  • Issue order acknowledgements in line with standard process and contractual requirements
  • Continually update the Insphire system with supplier PO delivery dates and keep client updated with any issues regarding service delivery – updating sale & hire orders where applicable to ensure system accuracy
  • Ensure accuracy of system information to coincide with invoicing process requirements – (i.e run codes) as well as support Finance to clear invoice queries you are responsible for
  • Optimise the use of company stock and ensure all purchases are processed as back to back orders – in line with company processes

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to National Certiciate/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of all standard Microsoft Software Packages
  • Communication skills – written and oral must be of a high standard
  • Ability to work in a team and on an individual basis
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Prior Experience of tooling and consumable sales preferred but not essential

Mains Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

Main Purpose of role:

This role will involve general labouring and cleaning in the yard; loading/unloading containers; scaffolding and materials as they are delivered; working closely with Stores to check stock levels and load deliveries for drivers.

Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning yard, warehouse and workshop as instructed
  • Receive all incoming goods according to procedure
  • Ensure goods delivered are accurate in quantity and match certification
  • Ensure stock levels are recorded and goods received notes are accurate
  • Ensure stock is deducted from completed work orders accurately and on time
  • Ensure all customer property is checked against delivery note
  • Despatch stock to workshops and other departments
  • Keeping yard clean, tidy and orderly at all times to allow safe movement of personnel and equipment
  • Liaise with Purchasing on any queries regarding quantity, condition or quality
  • Document and hold rejected goods in quarantine until the Contract Manager is informed and further instructions are received
  • Responsible for ensuring tasks are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with applicable company procedures

To carry out statutory thorough examinations on lifting equipment in accordance with relevant legislative standards, ATR procedures and client procedures where applicable.  The most commonly used regulations are:  Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and The Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment) Regulations 2006, other regulation may apply depending on the geographical location; Rope access skills are an integral part of this role.

Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To carry out statutory thorough examinations on lifting equipment in accordance with relevant legislative standards, ATR procedures and client procedures where applicable
  • ​To report on the condition of all inspected items using the ATR lifting database in a clear and concise manner, ensuring all details are correct
  • ​To formally report all defects found in a timely manner at the end of each shift or where the defect poses an immediate danger report immediately verbally then formally
  • ​Carry out load testing when required (if trained to do so)
  • ​Only carry out inspections, and testing of equipment within assigned competencies

Main Purpose of role:

​To service, repair and test air hoist’s and to work within the air systems department to maintain client and company owned equipment (eg: Stahl, Red Rooster, JDN, or qualified Ingersoll Rand Technician) whilst ensuring all business needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

 

Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, servicing/repair and testing of air hoists; multi-disciplined with wide range of makes and models such as Stahl, Red Rooster and JDN or Ingersoll Rand.
  • Preparing quotes for Client owned equipment, detailing parts and giving time estimations
  • Responsible for ensuring work is conducted in accordance with company procedures and instructions
  • Ensure that all jobs are conducted with professionalism and are finished to the highest standards within timescales
  • Working with members of team to ensure work scopes are carried out in a safe manner and completing daily activities
  • Assist where necessary all staff within the workshop in completing daily tasks, eg cleaning

The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.

 

Skills:

  • Proven technical experience within a mechanical workshop with SVQ/NVQ level 3 - Mechanical discipline and/or a recognised mechanical based apprenticeship
  • Proven experience with Air Hoists and Winches essential
  • Computer literate and can read manufacturers technical drawing

Experience:

  • 5 years + proven technical experience within air hoist industry
